I do think in Tony Smith at least we would have a coach who was willing to square up to any questions he was asked as he obviously sees communication with the customers as a priority (Judging by how much we get of him in the Mail compared with the previous incumbent in the post at least) A strong fans organisation would ensure that these happened at least once a year. When forums were the norm they were always instigated by FC Voices pestering the owner into it, however in fairness Adam was never an issue he was always willing to facilitate forums others were not so keen. But of late he seems to be a lot less high profile perhaps because of the current financial state of the club perhaps because of his health who knows? But it's a shame the last one I was involved in saw 400 fans packed into the Walton Club like sardines (the Walton club waived the charges and all the ticket income went towards the Boulevard Memorial) but that seems years ago now.

Agent Mulder must’ve investigated and past his findings onto the necessary body. Is it just me or does any other private body suffer from the cost of living. Bluddy Hell HS2’s just been cancelled

Turns out everyone was flapping over nothing:

The building is currently being constructed off-site in a modular style. It will be delivered to the university and slotted into place later this year.

Good news to hear it is nearing completion, but again, where has the communication been on this? Was anybody else aware it was built this way?

Can see both sides, it would have helped with the positivity to have confirmation it was still happening and on track...but do the fans really need to know all the ins and outs of the building work?

Yeah that's fair enough, just think with the negativity surrounding the club (and the game as a whole) regarding finances it would of been good to hear something sooner, but that's just been picky!

Either way, good news its nearly done, a purpose built pitch will make the bobbles of County Road feel like a distant memory!

The initial plans showed prebuilt modules being used because I remember thinking 'Not porta cabins surly' . You know, I might be imagining it but I think the great community and debating society on this site sometimes act as a bit of a pressure group on the club as after we have kicked off for a while, invariably something comes out of the club. Perhaps the uncertainty and scepticism of parts of this thread has done the trick again. I think I'll start a thread entitled we desperately need a state of origin half back!!!!
