Deffo Richmond but don't remember the time.

Season Tickets back next year!! What on earth is going on? We haven't been this organised for a long, long, long time.

I can see us winning vs Sheffield, but thats as far as we will go. Tolouse will have a much stronger squad, and we are not beating fev with the squad we have unless Fev play the ladies team

It’s not that I didn’t believe you but I had to see it for myself!

Last time we were the top story on BBC RL must have been when we beat Toronto in the‘ ‘million pound game’

I’d rather we stayed under the radar in the build up as far as the media are concerned, Guardian sport did a big piece on us ahead of the Bradford game- seemed to put the kibosh on us!
Let’s hope this piece doesn’t do the same!

Sheffield with home advantage should be favourites but I definitely think we could win. We need to start well, respect the ball a bit and make sure we concentrate at start of second half. Hopefully no rain. I take it the match isn’t on local radio and it’s Twitter feed only?
Good to see Eccles, Parata and Leyland junior shortlisted for Betfred Championship coach, player and young player of the year. The team has really stepped up, of course yet to be seen whether this group of players is sticking around. Our retention for 2024 has been a little sluggish and our recruitment invisible. I’m not worried yet but I do note the thread on this issue on the other site. There are definitely a number of players we’d be smart to retain and a few that I’m more relaxed about.

Bill Leyland has really impressed this season so good to see him get that recognition. Parata gets through huge amounts of quality work and deserves it too. I'm not really too familiar with the standard of coaching in the league but was a little surprised to see Eccles nominated. We were undercooked and lacking ideas at the start of the season. Obviously there has been improvement but IMO that is down to better players coming in and probably the influence of Rhys Lovegrove. Remember Eccles was actually supposed to be getting 2 assistants. I don't doubt he has qualities but not sure he is a coach.

Gus Mackay we salute you!!

Both players nominated thoroughly deserve it. I’ve always admired Parata’s level of graft, FWIW I voted for him as player of the year. He may not do the glamorous stuff but he works damn hard and is very effective. Massive amount of tackles he gets through.
I’m guessing one or two SL clubs will now be keeping an eye on BL. If they haven’t already. He’s had a great season, he’s very comfortable at Championship level.

Watched Bill come through the community and student game, was always a bit gobby but that goes with where he plays on the park. Good to see he he progressed Into the pro game, not sure if he has what it takes or if he would want a full time contract playing rugby. Hope he gets the recognition he rightly deserves

I'd also noticed that but seems to have it under control at the senior level.

Blackwell and Aston out for them, which are losses, however they get back Welham and a couple of others. See it being fairly square in terms of a match up. Hopefully we have Lewis and Alex back in the mix.

Rain looking pretty likely at kickoff, so hopefully we keep it simple, handle and complete our sets well.
