Props at the time were Hill, Cooper, Tasi(!) and Sita, with BMM and Clark playing out of 13.

King has improved since his time with us - no doubt, but he was never in the league of Hill or Cooper, even if Hill had the odd dodgy year (by his standards) around that time. I'd say King is probably better now than Sims and in retrospect would have kept King over Clark, Sita or Tasi.

Yeah, people had this unsupported outlook as if he was a big wrecking ball prop. Which he never was, he was a big solid consistant prop who played good minutes, he played the same over here as he did in the NRL, but people seemed disappointed with him. I thought he was great for us

Must admit, I always liked Sims - nothing spectacular but always willing to get stuck in, plus he seemed to be a real positive presence and had a fair bit of media savvy, came over well on TV.

Very happy that Crowther is staying.

He's been a positive influence since his arrival & a bit of a work horse. Short term loan comes good.

Some Cas fans were convinced he was signed with them still.

Crowther is a squad player. He's the same mould as Harrison for me.

I said it in the Harrison thread a few weeks ago, that isn't meant as a detriment. It's this type of player we need that allows the platform for 1 or 2 superstars to flourish. Less ego more graft. It's not an exciting signing but it's arguably the right one.

I agree. They are both the sort of player we thought we were getting with Hughes and Holmes.
