Yes and probably by every team in the league at some point. Nobody kicked off when we were going to do the same thing earlier this year with Griffin. As soon as a club gets knocked out the CC they then start having the opportunity to do this type of thing (as we did with Griff).

The worse journalist in RL, Appleyard getting in on the act, do your homework, its happened for years, but making out like it's a new thing happening in RL. I see it has Wigans reward for finishing top and investing in their reserve team.
I'm sure his article has nothing to do with Rovers maybe playing them next week.

Spot on, that is the only reason for his strop. If the roles had been reversed and this loophole was benefiting Rovers he'd be fine with it.
