Fus could have had five tries if someone had kicked for him earlier - he is very hard to handle in the air.
Weird weird game. Thoughts: * Newman had his best game for ages * Our right side of Fus, Newman, McDonnell and Sinfield looked very dangerous * Gutted we are losing Walters still why why why * Mik had a good dig * great to see CJ organising the side and I thought we looked much better with him in at DH. For me I’d be starting with him at 9 next year - don’t sign an over the hill hooker we have bags of talent - getting H Smith from Wakey could be a great complement to Johnson.
Sinfield made a huge difference tonight, that’s more like he plays in the academy.

For all the talk of Newman not being able to pass he set at least 2 trys up with some classy centre play and he kelt his emotions in check more of that Harry lad!

If Fusitua can stay fit hes a real asset
There was a point where Fus got whacked a bit in a tackle, he played the ball and then went right back up the middle again to challenge the same defenders and I loved that.
Also loved the niggle between ex-Academy teammates Johnson and Broadbent.
Literally can’t believe the tumbleweeds from some on here when we do well and RS does a good job with a massively patched up side… if we’d got badly beat again there would be pages.

Thanks He was great, really took his chance well. He is still young but looked confident and was prepared to take control, something far more seasoned players have shied away from in previous games. It's just a shame that it was only because Smith was injured along with Sezer that he got the chance. Walters was great aswell, playing as a pivot at times he looks a really gifted player. Wigan have got a real talent.
Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?
Norm: A little early, isn't it Woody?
Woody: For a beer?
Norm: No, for stupid questions.

Cas were ghastly though.
I think you may have said this last week, but Fusitua (when he's on the pitch) is probably the best player we have. Boy does he run that ball in hard.
