For all the moaning yesterday the Season Ticket prices for next year are actually good value.

The increases (its actually a decrease for SS ticket holders) have been know for a few years now and I actually think the restructuring of them was quite a good way of lessening the blow, WT ST have gone up a lot but I bet we don't actually sell more than a handful of those so it makes business sense to try get them into the SoutStand or Eastern terrace.

Its now same prices as mine which is just out of the middle - I might 'upgrade' although Ive become quite attached to where I sit now (not literally) :-)

I was pleasantly surprised too. A 15% reduction (if early bird is taken) is not to be sniffed at in this climate.

I might even upgrade to Gold Membership, as I'd still be paying less than last year.

I think this has surprised a lot of people, and even with the negativity towards the letters recieved yesterday, it may have bought a bit of good will with the fans.

I'm sure the vast majority of ST holders will renew early to take advantage of the generous discount (even those that swore they wouldn't renew a few days ago) which puts a good chunk of change in the clubs accounts to use on recruitment and signing on bonuses.

I think the club have got this spot-on, and everyone is a winner.

Yep. Good news.

Quite a surprise on pricing based on the letter the day before. The debate for me is not so much around the ST price, but would it be value for money based on the number of games I’d attend. The flexi would be much better and then pay for the odd games outside that.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Travelling from the outskirts of Newcastle as I do, I can't really justify a 'Full' season ticket (Although I'm sorely tempted), so the best option for me would be the five game Flexi, deffo a good buy imo, can cherry pick the games I want to see.

Before I pull the trigger, does anyone know when next years fixture list will be released?

Not a complete idiot, bits of me are missing
