What honestly would it achieve?
Other than to give the Cas fans a good laugh
It may well be the last laugh any cas fans have for a while. My reliable informant tells me they are in serious financial difficulties. It’s been flagged before but since then the situation has worsened.

the board to up their game after 5 years of substandard recruitment?
players who actually give a damn about wearing the shirt and putting a shift in?
I would suggest fans are entitled to a damn sight more than they have got in recent times
You think most of those players don’t give a damn?
Weve had two heavy defeats with a depleted squad sfter a yesr full of turmoil, protest all they want, they and whoever does it is entitled to their opinion as am I who thinks it looks petty snd childish.
Again what fi the protesters think will actually happen?
Same with booing and swearing at players do they think this will actually help?

It’s not gonna happen. Not in the RL DNA really. People who like the idea don’t sound like they would actually organise it. Plus what is it gonna achieve? We have been treated to some incredible times, now we are suffering, but again that won’t last either….
I really hope there isn't, and don't think there will be, a protest. The club has given me far more than it's ever taken from me and to spit the dummy over 5 indifferent years seems a little churlish. I would have said it's time to pull together and try and lift a team (half a team) that is currently having a very rough time. If the board don't take decisive action in the off season I suppose people are entitled to vote with their feet/wallets.

I was having a conversation over the weekend with someone who moves in the right circles and is usually clued up on these things. He told me he had heard a rumour that Wakefield won't get relegated. He either couldn't, or wouldn't, say anymore than that, but he seemed adamant that there was something in the rumour.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them saved at the eleventh hour by some RFL skulduggery, but I assumed that it would be a refusal to promote from the Championship.
