I know I've got to work on letting the rumours flow and not getting caught up in facts and truths but come on, give me a chance.

Heard from 2 people that it might be Cas that go down due to the state of their ground and it not making the criteria. Be a sad reflection on how SL is run and would be very unfair on Cas and is at this stage only a rumour. But interestingly from 2 completely unrelated people both saying the same thing. That`s all I know bud and please don`t build your hopes up and don`t shoot the messenger.
Wouldn’t be right and tbh I think that choice would have been made some time ago. WT are probably on the verge of, or in the process of telling staff they don’t have a job very soon - surely no such announcement would be made at this stage!

They need to do something by 2025 not next year. We are down.

I actually feel despite relegation, we're the team that's going to benefit from this. (Quick someone bookmark this for 3 years time so you can grief me when we're playing in league one)

Joking aside, that could happen if we don’t go down with the right attitude and preparation! Some very good teams in the championship but to be honest I welcome a break from SL, which is dictated by Stains, Wigan, Leeds and possibly Warrington and I’m sick of it. They have the clout in SL and unless you have a backer like Derek Beaumont then you’re absolutely not going to get a rub of the Green!

It's not just cash though is it? Compare Shudds with Leigh. With so much available and going on in such close proximity, that LSV must be the best venue in SL for a start. Go to Wigan, Saints or Wire you just get out of the car and walk into the ground. Hull KR have tried to emulate it a bit at that open end but don't really come close. Leeds does have the Headingley area to offer.

I’d hate to see us avoid relegation by default, take the relegation and hopefully come back stronger. Just out of interest AA, when were Cas unfairly relegated?

I assume he's referring to when Catalan were protected so Cas were relegated as second from bottom.
