The furore around Crowther reminds me a lot of the side show around us signing Danny Halliwell in 2002. (for our older viewers).

He was doing it even when the team was winning at the start of the season. I've not forgotten his attempt at a tackle v Salford at home as he let sneyd waltz past him from 10 out without touching him. Currie has long had form for this sort of thing.
