I can't see how they would win a game in the Championship, never mind SL. There's only a couple of players in the team vs Wire that I would keep. Wakey only need one win as that would probably bolster their score difference better than Cas.

Dont worry youve got us this week and our players have already downed tools like they do every September

My instinctive reaction is just to feel sorry for Wakey. For us, I see more of the same next season without massive player investment.

Bookies the length of the M62 will be buzzing with people who have finally won that tenner on their "Wakey favourites to go down" bet.

Would Wakey be starting to look at a duel reg option for next year with a near bye SL club? Say Castleford Tigers? We could loan you Miller - please take him.

As if Wakefield have gone down yet yorkshires smallest club, Leeds are still in SL.

Please tell me what Leeds and their 25 away fans bring to SL other than being a guarantee win and an opportunity to increase your points difference?

Some really mediocre aim’s coming out of Wakefields to do list for getting back into SL. In Michael Carters interview he states a 3000 average attendance in the championship would be the target. For a city the size of Wakefield that is embarrassing.
