Smith was supposed to be the man that could turn average players around and didn't need to wait for his own team to get results, now we've gone into the let him build his own team phase we had with Gentle, Radford and Hodgson.... we've got a lower points total and league position than we achieved with Hodgson last season , is smith still the right man to turn it round or has this been a challenge too far for him?

Pretty hard to feel confident about Smith based on the last few weeks.
Players thrown the coach under the buss again. We can't keep switching coaches. Let's give Smith a chance of a clear out. My only gripe after watching today is there's still loads to get rid of.
once a black and white always a black and white COYH

He is too dogmatic for me. We know the team is too small but the continued use of Lovodua and Dwyer doesnt make any sense, plus selecting Lane week after week again highlights his dogmatic attitude particularly when the season was over several weeks ago. I know he is hampered by the clubs obvious financial position and this is the reason i think he will walk away.

Another damp squib end to the home season. Only bright spots were Tag scoring the try and kicking the goal as his last act and that I don't have to watch us again until next year!
