I’m with you. It felt busy: certainly busier than the last two matches. However the pictures don’t lie even with 75 odd in corporate. Bit dispiriting really but the only hope is that people will come back because that was a good performance and decent atmosphere and entertaining so with games coming thick and fast we hope we can get into the high hundreds ( which obviously is poor but we are where we are).

The attendances are poor because Broncos are playing second tier rugby league with a part-time squad. Nobody but die hard RL fans and the occasional curious observer wants to watch that. They only way to bring in crowds is a top tier, successful rugby league team. If Hughes, or anyone else is prepared to fund and run that properly, then there is no point marketing to a disinterested general public.
