If you’d have told me 12 months ago I’d be this gutted to see Toby King go back to wire after his loan deal and we’d be getting Keighran to replace him I’d have laughed in your face. Not a dig at Keighran btw I just feel Toby King is the perfect fit for us, and his effort is second to none.

Keighran is a very good player and has a really good chance of making the dream team this year ahead of King, 2 totally different players and obviously yourself and us fans have a connection with King but I certainly don’t see this as a downgrade.
He’s been really good for us and looks to really enjoy it here. The move has worked out for him and us and he’ll go with people’s best wishes. His reception back here will be warmer than the one he was given back at Wire earlier in the season.

He definitely doesn’t want to go back. However as I posted last week there’s a big difference between what they are paying him and what Wigan value him at under the cap.
It’s a short career and he needs to earn as much as he can.

To a degree that's right about making as much money as you can, but also it's something I don't fully support.
Look at Williams. Raking it in and absolutely miserable. Money isn't everything. Especially when you factor in how much of a joke Wire are, the way their fans have been & how much he seems to love it here.
In regards to King the player, I'll eat my words and say that he ended up being a good buy & goes with my thanks.
