Not sure whether it was the heat or not, but Widnes did look very flat. Took their two tries well enough, but we looked so much sharper, both sides of the ball.

Another good game from Alex Walker and a very good performance from Jordan Williams. He's always so reliable and got himself a try today.

Crowd was maybe 300ish at the most I thought.

Noticeably bigger crowd even taking into account the fact that Widnes brought quite a few. Good atmosphere.

Shame about the gate, if only 300. The Radio Merseyside commentators mentioned there weren't many in. My wife and I are going to brave the replacement bus next week. I think the Thameslink to Haydons Road is running which it wasn't today

Ours all too deep nearest tackler to reciever 10-15 mtrs back

Very good kicker they have. In fact notwithstanding the fact we’ve spanked them they have quite a few decent players. Good performance by Broncos.

I thought Norman had a very good game as well. Both Leylands were lively and Walker very good. Thought Anatolia did well as well and Albert much more secure this week.
I thought the crowd was much higher than that around 700.

Don’t know but it seemed like a decent sized crowd

Great result in the end, thought both sides looked nervy in the first 20-30 minutes, mistakes made - clearly an awareness of the importance of the game for playoff prospects.
Had Widnes pulled it back to 30-18 it might have got a bit ‘uncomfortable’ but credit to our players , they put a nice few moves together, put chances away and the game to bed.
COYB!!

So.a crowd of between 300 and 700 is considered "decent" now is it?
Fantastic result and the play offs await....I can only pray that by some miracle London go the whole way at the RFL/SL/IMG have thier hands forced to do something about the shambles at Plough Lane because it can't be allowed to continue

Those drilled into touch were pretty deliberate energy saving. And all were bang on or insude the 10 mtr, so made us come put 90mtrs up field. What I was talking about was when they went into the air, much much better than us in where it went, along with a much better chase.
Agree had they got another score when it was 30-12 then it could have been interesting. What was pleasing was support play when a break was made.
Discipline was pretty good, I think in total whole game 6 penalties, we got rightly caught offside a couple of times. Credit to both teams and good comms not 1 set restart
Did anyone see what the yellow card was for? I missed it, it was TJ who came on..
Crowd I was wrong side to do a rough count 6,,-700 I think not far off

It must have been much higher than that- very few empty seats in the blocks around where I was sat
