To think this squad is at the cap limit on a par with other clubs spending is embarassing...

The squad has been mismanaged since 2018

Went to the game today as had free passes and was able to get there, plus the sun was shining.

I thought the start of the game, first 15 mins, was pretty even and not much in it.. The heat must have a played a part in that, 30 degrees.

As the game progressed it was clear that WIgan were doing the basics much better and building pressure. Too often our "bigger" players just fade into the background. We just look clueless and not to bag sinfield but anyone could have done what he dod today... put in a few tackles, pass the ball on, kick on the last. Maybe he will some good in a few years but nowhere near currently.
I thought wigan did nothing extra special today, just played as a solid team..# But 50 is hard to swallow...

Morgan Smithies is the biggest greb in Super League.

Finally cooled off after todays drubbing. This has been coming for the last month or so despite winning two out of the last three. Today they ran into a very good full strength Wigan with a point to prove after a couple of recent heavy defeats at our hands. We had half team and probably about a 2 thirds of the salary cap missing tso as bad as it was, I'm not too upset. I fear it will probably more of the same at Catalans next week. There's no getting away from it, we need far more quality in our playing squad. One bright note for me was Fusitua, who I thought was outstanding. The rest ranged from awful to very average.

Errm yeah Hull getting beaten by Cas last night and a weak Leeds side last week at home, sitting in 10th but apparently they've improved. That's an interesting take on them.

No disappointment or surprise here. Did tell people that club gave up on season about 2/12 ago. So I did too….
All about next year and the rebuild. We need 2-3 quality players…..
No excuses accepted now.

I thought Hull were pretty bad last week. We flattered to deceive although it was an enjoyable game.

Whatever game plan we had today we didn’t have the personnel to deliver. Playing tight where needed, precision kicking and then second phase to make Wigan work hard in the heat.. but they did all those things better than us.

One of my best mates is a Hull fan, he wouldn’t agree, they’re shocking and below us in the table

As bad as we played, it shouldn't have been a 50 point loss. I think the scoreline somewhat flattered Wigan. But saying that, we never looked in ot either.

I think we had a lot of luck go against us today. When the scoreline was 16-0, I mentioned to someone in the stand that it should really have been 6-6. In a game without a VR it probably would have been, and at that point the game may have gone a different way.

The most disheartening thing about today was how the fans acted. The Southstand lacked atmosphere (even with two groups of fans trying to get songs started with varying degrees if success early on), and then it turned hostile. Plenty of abuse aimed at players, and then a lot of arguing between the fans on the stand. By full time, I was starting to feel a little uncomfortable by the amount of running arguments between people stood around me.

It wasn't an enjoyable afternoon, bit I fully get the frustration people were venting. By the looks of things, the stands may be a bit quieter next year. It seems every other season ticket holder is threatening to not renew this time.

That fan last week at Hull who was swearing at people for enjoying the win must have been apoplectic today, some people really do need to chill out and remember it’s just a game
