And that’s the big issue isn’t it Dave, normally a club could raise the mood with some big signing announcements but we are very limited now with only one quota spot available and in need of a out & out 7 and a 9. So unless the club can produce say Ackers & a top class half from the NRL along with a couple more domestic big hitters we are really going to be struggling.
Leigh have shown what can be done in a short space of time and Salford who have repeatedly lost big players but still compete the following seasons following their recruitment even after losing Watson and relatively tight budget.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The signings made dont cost money at this stage but the loss of some sponsors as they are being asked for more money for next season and expected decrease in pass sales will put ever more pressure on Pearson
Smith's still got to make a living and if he fails at Hull there wont be many new offers, so I think things would have to get very bad for him to walk out
The fact every game is on TV next year has the potential to massively increase the number of fans that pick and choose which games they decide to attend in person as well if performances don't pick up
There is not a magic wand . We all know this club is struggling. We have for a couple of years. We brought in Smith to sort it. This year has just reinforced the massive job needed. He has started to address the situation with a clear out and new players signed. Pity he couldn't have got rid of more. It's not going to happen overnight. Mores the pity.
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
whoever decided to let all matches be on tv next season needs sacking.takes all control from clubs when they want there home games played.season pass holders getting raw deal to suite tv armchair viewers.disgrace
