Anyone watch the Angus Kinnear square ball podcast yet? Very good watch, long but well worth watching it all. He’s absolutely scathing about Sinesterra and Adams and the way they behaved. Said they went to extreme lengths to get out which had certain risks to the club.

Some interesting stuff on Bielsa and how Radrizanni didn’t have the money to do what Bielsa wanted them to do with the team. Marsch back room staff was a mess, good guy but should have been sacked at the World Cup break. Gracia lost the dressing room apparently… P&L measures getting tougher on teams who come from prem league and will get tougher still.. they’re trying to stop teams in championship from spending way out of it.

Loads more other stuff and as I say worth a watch and credit to him to be fair. 49ers have some serious coin.

Watched it late last night. Very interesting. Fair play to him coming on for such a long interview, knowing the sort of questions you were going to be asked.

defensively it was appalling though which people tend to forget. always amazed me how somebody who analysed everything failed to see, or sort out, a defence that was really easy to play against

Yeah. For it to work fully and for a long period it needed top players in nearly every position. I’d love him to be England manager with the talent in that squad.
