If he stays see him more as competition for our bang average centres rather than wing.
Considering most on here were calling McIntosh not S/L quality, he did improve his game several weeks ago,the fact remains as it stands we we go into 2024 with McIntosh and three rookie wings which without doubt makes our wings the weakest in S/L

Good news about Walker though? You wanted us to sign him.

you keep saying he is injury prone but we have several players who are injury prone but you dont go on about them
Walker is a class full back both in link and attack and has what we are crying out for pace.
He had one major very serious foot injury whilst at Leeds which could have been career threatening, and like a lot of players with pace has suffered some hamstring problems and whilst at HKR their physios have been working to strengthen the area and as we know he is playing now with confidence.
Said for weeks we should sign Walker and pleased to see the club have made a sensible move to sign him given our problem at full back as it seems likely Hoy will move to halfback.
May go under the radar a little but i think Walker will show us next season what we have been missing at full back

yes i did
one of the clubs better decisions
no brainer given our full back problem and means we can still sign an overseas halback if there is one available

Like you Chris i think that the club are keeping their fingers crossed that Clifford comes back to S/L for 2025 or even part of 2024 if he doesnt make it as a first choice back in the NRL.

Unless he has been signed to replace Hoy who is going home

Hoy leaving wouldnt surprise me
Big disappointment

Think people are right to mention his injury record, he's played 37 games since 2020. It's a concern.

He's deserves some luck and hopefully he has that with us.

Problem is as somebody else mentioned earlier if Clifford does come back to SL there's no guarantee he'll come back here.

He won't be short of offers.

Well his missus has started a business over here so I don't see him leaving.

If he can stay fit he's a very good player. We've seen that at times this season. Cas at home, Magic, Saints, Salford away. If we are going to give Walker a chance to prove he's over his injury woes surely we do the same with Hoy?
