If he was an English player then yes, but would beca shocking use of our last quota spot, wouldn't get into our strongest 17 when all fit, be like Lovodua again.

This is my take on the situation as well. No NRL 7 , will come to SL on a 12 month contract, because IF we signed a overseas 7 , on a 2 year deal, that would obviously end any hope of re-signing Clifford. Also, there maybe is a better choice of 7s next year. Also Tuimavave and Hoy are off contract next season, maybe a 7 & 9 are being lined up .
I thought that when the HDM article appeared today. Would have thought he'd merit a conversation, but he plays centre, doesn't he? Young and English backs must be worth a look , especially with his dad's Hull connection, you'd think. Shame about Bentley, he'd have been an excellent addition to the pack and would have been a definite upgrade.

Wonder if Walker is seen as our FB for next season and Hoy goes in to the halves leaving to door open for possibility of Clifford returning at some point?
