but im patient and trust the club in everything it does because for the last six years we have enjoyed a rich period of high quality R/L and thats only down to the leadership at the club. Cant wait and it wont be long now till we get the begging letter from Adam. Sorry Adam but now i bloody hate jam

That's prop sorted.
As above still need to strengthen a few positions with one quota spot left, so Smith has to do some magic domestically.
Got to use the last spot on a half, absolutely madness to use it on any other position, especially fullback, when we have Hoy, Litten and a few decent domestic fullbacks available (Walker, Hodgson and Hampshirt).
Personally I'd sign Hampshire and quota 7.
Think we are OK on the wing, impossible to replace Swift without a quota spot, so keep Mitch and let Mcintosh, Tindall, Barron, Mitch and Martin battle it out for the two wing spots. Given a chance think Martin could be a real star, quick, strong amd good in the air.
Wonder if we will look an O Brien, hooker who has been on loan at Halifax with Grix, always though he was a decent hooker

All i can think is why we are targeting an overseas full back rather than a direct replacement for Clifford is that Hoy was initially signed to play in the halves with Trueman until Clifford became available so they are going to go with their initial plan.
Morgan Smith i've heard they are targeting as cover hooker and can also play half back too.

Joe Keyes as back up 7 with Grix at Halifax. Need a proper 7 like Clifford for me, still think we need another second rower unless Ashworth play there with Okunbor and Lane/Jebson/Stevers and Staveley as back ups
Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.
Saw Dave’s post about Hayze Perham. Reckon he would be a revelation in SL.
Imagine our attacking flair having him, Hoy and Truey. Just not sure about the balance in that spine. I’m yet to see any of them have a controlling kicking game.
In terms of individual quality, he’s probably the best we could sign but would he have the desired impact on the team. I’m not sure.
