problem is Academy talent at half back doesnt seen to blossom into S/L talent at this club

The recruitment was always going to be a tough prospect with the amount of players that were out of contract with an ever decreasing player pool to choose from though we have seemingly also made it even harder with some decisions taken.
I know we don't know the full picture etc but as much I have tried to stay quite positive about the overhaul that been needed and believing the club have all under control, I can't help starting to feel some concerns.
The ones on here who keep telling us to be patient and that the club have everything under control is just a way of hiding their disappointment and trying to stay positive. Just not pro active enough and playing catch up with the better teams in S/L

I'll willingly include myself in the "patient" crowd and it's nothing to do with disappointment, it's just trying to offer a considered counter-point to the relentlessly negative speculation such as "Just not pro active enough and playing catch up with the better teams in S/L".
