I wrote our last 6 of the season off weeks ago.
The only shock was we pushed Wigan so close

Regardless of the fact we might actually win it's our last home game for five months and it's the last home game for Taylor, Swift, Clifford, Savelio and Satae. Possibly a farewell to Ellis too if his departure is confirmed by then.

i read that as Taylor Swift is going to be there?

It doesn’t really make much difference that I’ve paid for it as I paid for my pass nearly a year ago. I’d rather do something with my time that’s more worthwhile.

Just find the end of season tail off tiresome along with the piece meal communication from the club. I know I know the club will release news as and when ready etc but after the last few years of utter dross they’d be better served re engaging with the fanbase and trying to keep fans feeling positive. I maybe just being cranky since I hit 50 but it just as much as I try to be patient the lack of news of any sort it starts to grind my bones.

While I’m pleased to see that some changes have been made there’s still a lot of issues and a huge gulf in terms of outgoings and incomings, some of the selections etc just seems to make it harder to stay positive as a fan.

Back on topic and the Cas game the thought of a halfback pairing of Houghton/Lovodua with Dwyer doing 80 mins at 9 or Hoy/Lovodua with Shaul at FB with either option having Lane in the starting 13 does little to wet the appetite.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Cas are probably thinking they need another win to be sure of avoiding relegation and I reckon they will be targeting Friday as their best opportunity to grab the necessary 2pts.

Given our return in the last two weeks to a somewhat lacklustre mood, we don't look like the stiffest opposition right now. Having said that, Cas looked shot at the end of the Wire game on Saturday and will need some picking up off the floor by their coaching staff.

So, who knows! Anything could happen. From our perspective, even though we basically have nothing worthwhile to play for, I think it is imperative that we don't have a repeat of recent years whereby the season dribbles to a close on a run of defeats. We all know how some of the shocking displays and results at the back end of 2018/19/21/22 drained what little energy and enthusiasm was still remaining in the fanbase. It puts everyone on the back foot for the following year before we've even reached that point.

I'm just hoping for a bit more energy on Friday, compared to the last two weeks. At least it's not on telly.

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Litten, Mcintosh and Carlos all to be back in the 21, sounds like Sutcliffe will be 50/50.

Sao could yet play again this season and Trueman expected back late February, which isn't a terrible result in the grand scheme of things.

Watching Wakecoke on the reserves highlights I would like to see him included this week.

Looks a very good prospect and not too much pressure in this game?

Any decision by the panel with Cullen involved makes me very cynical. Teams due to play Warrington appear to get some rough treatment.

Agree there's definitely a conflict of interest, but wouldn't expect anything else from the incompetent RFL.
