Hi Wire fans, in recent games parking has been at a premium at the Salford Community Stadium, it will be busy for Wire Away on Sunday 10th Sept, some parking options are below. There will also be music, bars, food trucks etc outside the ground on Sunday.

The Parking options are as follows:

AJ Bell Stadium Parking booking - https://ajbellstadiumparking.co.uk/

Salford Red Devils also have match buses running from the Trafford Centre free to those who have a valid match ticket for the game. For more details visit:

https://salfordreddevils.net/shuttle-bu ... -fixtures/

Other options are Salford City Roosters Ground or Barton Airport.

http://www.salfordcityroosters.com/ - Offer match day parking at the Club House a ten mins walk to the ground.

https://www.bartonaerodrome.co.uk/ - Check they are offering parking on the Match Day.

Any issues please contact Salford Red Devils.

Do not park on the main road outside (Road that connects to the Trafford Centre) the ground at the last game v Leigh warning notices were put on cars that penalties will be given out moving forward. This is not the club it is the council, just some advance warning.

Hope this information helps and a good few Wire fans travel over for what is a crucial game for both teams, though I assume Wire will be firm favourites after our dire performance v Wigan.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'll be having a couple of pints of Joey Holts pre-game followed by a stroll from Patricroft

That is a good shout especially if you can get a train to Patricroft.

The task for Salford is now much harder and Paul Cullen and his disciplinary mates have banned 3 of our players, King V with a high shot I get, but Watkins and Partington is a disgrace. The RFL is a shambles, but we all know this.

I have cycled past the stadium many times and depending on the weather I might be tempted to do that for the match. Are there secure cycle storage facilities there?

Patricroft station is on the line through Newton. You can either get a train from Bank Quay to Patricroft ,a bus from Warrington to Newton Station or there is a park & ride at Newton station.

found this on the AJ Bell site
TRANSPORT
CYCLING & WALKING –
We encourage as many people as possible to walk or cycle to the Stadium There are 14 double sided bike racks at the stadium. You must bring your own lock .

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Are many Wire fans making the trip to Salford tomorrow? This is now a must win game for both teams.

I reckon between 6k - 7k based on ticket sales and walk ups. There are bars outside the stadium plus music and food tomorrow plus stalls. Not sure about the fair.

Just plan your parking Wire fans, enjoy the game just hope we win - keep top 6 interesting.
