Who says we haven't? Just because things haven't been announced yet doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
Just need to have a bit of patience.

Personally find it strange that if the club have indeed made signings that they would decide to sit on the news as opposed to release it to give the supporters some hope and positivity for 2024 after a run of pretty abysmal seasons.

As for patience I think you’d be hard pressed to say we haven’t been patient or is a wait since 2018 not long enough to be classed as patient. I appreciate the club at last appointed an experienced coach in Smith and he needs time to overhaul but a lot of good will and patience has already been well spent by the club in the previous years.

Just doesn’t feel as though the club is being very proactive in terms of its fans more the opposite.

I've always assumed that the players current club has some say in when stuff gets announced, I might be wide of the mark on that one though.

Yes, there could be a number of reasons be it current club, new club, player or a combination of these.

No doubt there are others as well sitting on announcements but people will obviously focus on their own club. Huddersfield haven't announced Swift or Savelio.

We all like gossip and then that gossip becoming fact but we are a couple of months away from contracts ending/starting and pre season training. There's really no rush. We get this every season, people complaining about a lack of announcements.

The fact that he has been named the best player in the whole of the league in a league that is of a good standard and lots of SL clubs get their players from that level (Clune, Clifford, Schneider etc) you would have to say yes.

Would get a visa though?

Hes OOC but I'm not sure who Souths 3rd choice half is now. They've let Taafe leave so may want Hawkins to take his place?

Like you say, he might struggle to get a visa too
