I'd take both Walker and Schneider, the only issue with signing Walker would still be the lack of cover at halfback, if Trueman is out for a couple of months it gives us only Hoy and the new halfback, no cover at all, so we will still need to sign another halfback.
Not the perfect scenario, but could we consider playing Carlos at 6 alongside the new 7 whilst Trueman is coming back from injury and have Sutcliffe and Scott as starting centres?

Carlos or Sutcliife are possible short term options. but I rather have a halfback there, hopefully the club see Harman as a player who can play the odd game.
Other option is to keep an on someone like Riley Dean, I bit older than our halfs.

Not sure why the negativity on Okunbor, ok he isn't do well in the NRL and has low stats, but it's the NRL, the Bulldogs are poor, however they would beat us easier and probably win SL and ge gets into their 17.

Caught the highlights of the Bulldogs game earlier, that Addo-Carr looks a decent player, could be worth a punt

Imagine him, Averiilo, Burton and Kikua in SL.
They also have Thompson, who was the best prop in DMSL and he doesn't really stand out, the gulf is huge and just Because Okunbor doesn't stand out, doesn't mean he won't be a success in SL.

Averillo would be like Jai Field, his pace is amazing. Thompson came back from injury recently, but plenty of speculation in the Aussie press about his future, they seem to think The Doggies want rid. He'd still do it in SL, but Wigan or Warrington will be all over that one , if he comes back to the UK. Okunbor is still learning his trade in the backrow, but he does have real pace, so he may well stand out in SL. Depends the type role we ask of him I suppose and the service he gets out wide. He is great on kick plays, very much a weapon to exploit, so I am willing to give him every chance to prove my opinion of his signing wrong, I hope he does make a big impact, he certainly doesn't weaken our backrow , as things stand currently.

Heard similar, Hoy & Trueman will be 6&7, which is a concern.
we need a 7 ,not a makeshift half.before sneyd we had plenty of makeshift halfs and it was a disaster,we dont want to go down that route again.if we start making do with the likes of carlos at 6 ,we are in big trouble.
