Jack Walker really isn’t an option. He is injury prone, full stop. We signed him on loan because of our injury crisis and he soon became part of it. How many games has he played for Dobbins? I wish there was some rationale to some of the posts on this 470 page thread.

5 games so far for Rovers, and he only signed in June he was cup tied for the Semi and Final.

To be fair I think Walker would be a good option. We have lost Trueman to a serious injury and will be out until at least the start of the season and have already lost Clifford for 2024. So we either have to bring in two halves which currently seems to be a struggle to get one or we sign Walker and play Hoy in the halves (until Trueman is fit) alongside ANother who replaces Clifford.
Walker is a natural FB with pace and has the ability to link up play, the latter is something that Litten has yet to add to his game. Also with Hoys hamstrings Walker would again be a good player to have in the squad to cover any future issue there. Its no secret his career has been hampered by injury or he'd still have been at Leeds, however if a deal could be struck that doesn't impact the cap too greatly he would be addition to the squad.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

There isn't much choice domestically at this stage in the season.
I'd take both Walker and Schneider, the only issue with signing Walker would still be the lack of cover at halfback, if Trueman is out for a couple of months it gives us only Hoy and the new halfback, no cover at all, so we will still need to sign another halfback.
