Well, this game (just like the last one) is huge.

I think that we are going to have to beat Leigh to stay up. There is a sense of irony and theatre in all of that and while Cas have shown nothing to suggest that they will win again this year, we still have that weekly opportunity (PD permitting) to leapfrog.

Imagine having to beat the newly promoted team to stay in SL?

That game and Cas’s game would probably get moved and televised with the same kick off time, and it would be squeaky bum time.

Cas have an interesting game against Hull FC next, nothing to play for and have lost a couple back to back. I'd say Cas have more chance of beating them than we have of beating Catalans or Leigh.

That said if they don't pick up the win and it goes down to the last game of the season, I'd say we have a massive chance of beating KR. Hopefully they're cemented in the playoffs and field a side like they did against Wigan just before the CC final.

There is every chance that this could go to the last round, with us needing to beat KR and hoping that Leeds can do us a favour v Cas.
The only glimmer of hope is that Leigh are in a solid 4th spot (unable to drop and unable to improve to 3rd) and maybe, just maybe, they rest a few players and we have a good day. - talk about clutching at straws.

The club need to find a way of filling the ground on Friday for the Catalan game and hoping that a fully partisan crowd can help ensure that we get a few calls from the officials and somehow, we find a performance.

The problem with the Leigh game is that they don't have a reserve side that they can utilise to field a weakened team.
A lot depends on Hull FC doing the business for us once again too.

Losing to Cas twice has pretty much confirmed relegation. Maybe if we had a proper Head Coach and took recruitment seriously at the start of the year we wouldn’t be in this mess.

The cas v hull is the big chance cas have, if they lose that we have a fighting chance.
