Its also worrying that Swift was Mom again and he's leaving, you know things are bad when a winger is getting mom for driving the ball up and trying hard

We looked devoid of effort and ideas, proof of it was needed that several players aren't of the right standard.
Quote: Also baffled with keeping Dwyer on the bench until 13mins to go, may as well give a young kid a run out than have him sat there.
I simply cannot understand why Balmforth is not getting game time.
He'll benefit from the experience going in to next season.

Wondering if there is a salary cap or loan clause reason why he cant play, as keeping him at doomed to relegation Newcastle wont be progressing him much. Either that or Smith simply doesnt rate him.

Yes and that means wingers and halves will always stand out more as fans often vote for whos scored etc. But even if it was a panel vote he'd still have been a contender for MoM today, he was one of a few who looked like they had a clue.

Massively disappointed. Really fancied us to put in a performance and win today but couldn't have been more wrong. As others have said, Swift and Jack Brown very good and oh what it would have been like to see Clifford play behind a big pack..

They’ll be a season that doesn’t end it complete disappointment eventually
felt like we had gone back to the start of the season at some points today, awful defence and lazy. looked better with Hoy in halves.

The most impressive bit of skill this afternoon was the young kid kicking the ball in the car boot 3 times

And even those 2016 and 2017 wins were only against Cas and Wakefield! Absolute discrace.
