That was disappointing to say the least I expected better after last week, you know take a knock and come back fighting but welcome to our end of season Mr Smith. The plan is this; once avoiding relegation is ensured every bloody year we drop off just look at the stats over the last few seasons, it's spooky.

It certainly not Tony's fault this year and I'm still 100% behind him for he inherited the culture, he's changed it in some cases but none the less it is still there inherent in the very DNA of many at Hull FC. We do however expect better next season but its hard to accept we will get it. as the best players we have this year are leaving the club and Swift apart once they got themselves sorted they have gone backwards. When a club prides itself on everyone knowing the play book and everyone knowing the plan you simply can't blame injuries etc for disrupting the team. That was a poor Leeds team and neither club deserve to be in the top six but they were far better than us on the day.

I look forward to next years squad with interest.

The amount of times he got his arm free for an offload and no one was near him was unreal

Sounded like they missed my presence from the sidelines.

I'm with the earlier poster in this thread. The cold Friday nights are best, well wrapped up with a cup of hot bovril.

Harsh to criticise lane today as he played about 70 mins out of position. Got an assist with the most telegraphed pass ever.

Real poor from pack today, hopefully Ashworth, Ese’Ese, Pele & Okunbor make a massive difference.

For me, today should be last game shaul, joey and Dwyer play for the club. All leaving and not exactly pulling up trees.

Thought brown really had a go today and was probably the most effective forward. Taylor made too many unforced errors which got us on the back foot.

Fans seem to love Harvey Barron but to me that’s because he’s from hull and tries hard. He’s not shown anything to suggest he’s a SL winger. If Mcintosh is out next week Lewis Martin has to get his shot.

Only positive was we looked much better at moving the ball with tex on pitch

Really poor again. You can tell from the first five or ten minutes whether we are in for a good day or not and today you could definitely see from the start it was going to be another dismal display.

Thank God Leeds weren't that good and had half a team missing.

When the pressure is on we return to type.

Very disappointed today, it was the same dejavu performance of every August/September for the last 5 years.

We looked devoid of effort and ideas, proof of it was needed that several players aren't of the right standard.

Also baffled with keeping Dwyer on the bench until 13mins to go, may as well give a young kid a run out than have him sat there.

You can keep calling Radford all you like but he put trophies in the cabinet and made us one of the top teams in the land. If Smith can match his success then I'll be happy.

I still have faith in Smith as he's been lumbered with a poor squad. Evans and Lovodua as quota players really??

But if we keep playing as badly as today then all it does is increase the pressure to get off to a good start next year. A win or two before the end of the season tops up the goodwill a bit.
