Announced today that he'll be retiring at the end of the season, he's been one of our best forwards of the SL era, wish he could have gone round 1 more year but it wasn't to be. Thank you Tag

Had to carry our pack on his own after 2017...probably knocked 2 years off his career. Happy retirment Tag!

Great servant, Great player. His form in 16/17 was sensational, glad he will be taking up a role at the club.

Pretty gutted. Didn't think I'd be saying that 12 months ago. Was outstanding in those cup winning seasons. When Watts left he carried us for the few seasons after, then had that horror foot injury. Got himself fit this season and has been good for us. A big hole to fill.

Be a great signing, played a massive part on 16/17, injuries took its toll on him last few season. Really glad he is finishing on a good season.

Didn't see that one coming, disappointed as his form this season merited a contract. I wonder if he retired himself or wasn't offered another deal. Been a fantastic signing and made a significant contribution to the back to back cup wins.

As pivotal as he was to the back to back Wembley triumphs, he was an absolute warrior in 2018, carried the pack single handed. He leaves as one of the immortals.

Tony Smith said his possible contract offer was dependent on other signings so there must be other signings coming soon.

He will always be a 2016 legend. That image of him with sheer joy on his face next to Ellis lifting the Cup encapsulated his love for the club. Thanks Tag and best wishes for the future.
