Yeah heard that too, not sure what they see in him. They do need to add some depth won't have a season with so few injuries again and hopefully run a reserve team next season.

Probably a scrum half & a utility. A bit quiet on a replacement for Swifty, any rumours? Tindall would be massive downgrade, & a signing i found a bit bizarre - `promising, young & pacey'. We already have 2 `promising, young & pacey' wingers in the reserves & litten

Its unfortunate for Ben as he just doesn't seem good enough to nail down a spot in the 17 on a regular basis and when he does get a chance he picks up injuries that keep him out for a weeks at a time.
He's not a poor player and has done a job when asked but as much as I'd have liked to have seen him make it, he needs to play regular rugby and he's not going to get that at Hull.
With Truemans injury it could have strengthened McNamaras hand in getting a renewal but seems the club have other ideas and possibly already identified/signed replacement halves.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

With 5 wingers on the books, it would be crazy to add any more in terms of salary cap management. If Smith could turn around Darnell's form, there's no reason he can't get one of the other 4 playing well.
Darnell McIntosh Liam Tindall Mitieli Vulikijapani Harvey Barron Lewis Martin
The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.

Smith has mentioned about not blocking progress of young players before and I wonder if they now see Harman as the better bet for the backup half role going forward.
