I was actually expecting us to pick some points up today, pick another 2 up next week, and go into the last round needing to beat Cas at home to secure 6th spot. And get beat again by them. That would have been the most 'Leeds' thing to happen.
I don't think it will matter now, and I don't think they'll be a big showing at Hull next week.

Hull were apparently awful against Warrington, fans saying Dwyer was like a headless chicken with terrible distribution, we did tell them!
Any hope I had of winning today went when I saw Nene was out

Hudds were at full strength we were far from it
It was more the officiating I am upset about. And the fact we have got ourself into this position due to lack of recruiting and squad planning.
Cas was a disaster, but it was start of the season in sub-par conditions. I thought things would change with the better weather.
Wakey, I had a hunch about that. It wasn't much of a suprise. Their losing streak had to come to an end, and we were out of form. I even made a feftw quid at the bookies that day.
But tonight was just awful all round. It isn't just the team I feel disillusioned about, but the sport in general. I was talking to a guy at half time who had brought his friend to their first ever rugby league game. On the way home, I was wondering if I'd bother going to another game if I was in his shoes - an empty stadium, two crap team that are supposed to be top-flight, a referee that appears need an assistance dog, and a set of fans verbally showing discontent with the governing body.
I thought the game was rotten in the mid-90's. It looked ather professional and polished compared to today's sport.

It would be utter madness to resign him. But guess what.....
I'm not even joking here straight biggest fart arsed not interested wage suckling lard booty shiester! But in the current market probs Rhinos standard.

Dead right. Hudds had every member of the first choice spine available, including Pryce on the bench. We had Sezer and O'Connor. Add to that the withdrawals of McDonald and Fusitua (what was it this time?) and one look at the respective teamsheets said we were heading for a heavy loss. I thought we were heading for a beating at 16 points down, but somehow we managed to bumble our way back into contention, as we do most weeks. I could understand the fury when we lost to Cas twice, and even when we managed to lose to Saints away, but this one is understandable. It's obviously a cumulative thing. For those who like a good rant I suspect there will be a few opportunities over the coming weeks. Start of next year will be huge for Rohan and GH.

Fair points re Hudds spine. I think it’s about 50/50 now whether Smith gets a chance at start of next season. I can see another GH presser in October , “The club and Rohan have come to a mutual agreement that it’s in the best interests of all concerned to part ways, we’d like to thank Rohan for all his efforts over the last 18 months. The club will now embark on a worldwide search for the best candidate, blah, blah. If that does happen GH needs to get out of the football side of the club as well. He can’t be allowed to carry on overseeing systemic failure.
