I don’t think I’ve know so many Achilles injuries suffered by a team Cator x 2, Griffin, Carlos, McIntosh & now Trueman. Granted McIntosh was still a Huddersfield player at the time but he got his injury at the KC/KCOM/MKM.
Gareth Ellis also suffered with it in a game v kr a few years ago
Shocking news about trueman, hope the lad recovers asap,it just shows how injuries affect teams.Leigh only have a small squad, but seem to have picked from the the same 18 every week, luck of the draw. I guess, nothing you can do about it,but I do think hull and rovers seem to have drawn the short straw the last few seasons.

Can't believe how well Leigh have kept there squad fit, seems there main players haven't missed a game this year.

Thibk Warrington will make the 6, good squad on paper and very heathly, wouldn't if Powell had stayed, but seemed to have improved since he was sackeded.

They've done very well. But honestly it could come back to bite them now. They looked so fatigued on Friday from having to play their players week in week out. They don't have the luxury to rotate the squad as much as other teams, and a lack of injuries has kept them playing every week (makes it even more of a miracle they've done so wee on the injury front). Really hope they find a bit of energy again from somewhere as I'd like to see them mount a serious challenge come the playoffs.

Ultimately not good enough today, granted it’s tough to adjust after losing a half, but I still felt we had enough to beat Wire today.
I can’t recall a more frustrating player in recent memory than Dwyer. He has moments and creates opportunities from nowhere only to either lose the ball or throw a terrible pass. He certainly highlights how vital Houghton has been for us this year, his steadiness will be a welcome return next week.
It was always going to be an outside chance, but we have 4 finals ahead of us now. Do we deserve play offs? Probably not, but we can’t afford another defeat should we want to reach them.
Ha ha. Maybe Dwyers sole purpose is to make the fans appreciate Houghton!
