We might be on different posts then but if you are saying they are getting grief for Mash then yes they made that decision. Its on them.

All the other stuff about the stadium is just a load of tosh.

I think if you consider the Cas performance against us, it’s hard to disagree that they have more spine than us and deserve to be above in the table. Simply, we are unadulterated crap.

We all know the problems we faced before the season even started. We I presume to limit our expenditure started with the weakest squad in SL and an inexperienced SL coach. I suppose we hoped that by adding players on two week loans we could fill any gaps that occurred without spending too much. We did add a few better players after our 14 game run of defeats but even they didn’t actually elevate the squad above any other team and the coach only made it worse.
I think we all know the fate that awaits us, fortunately some can walk away from the embarrassment of this and previous seasons when we have struggled, the supporters however cannot and are left with whatever remains from this period.

I agree with that post. It's just my opinion but I consider the first and foremost priority of any board of directors is to ensure the clubs super League survival. Others may think that is not a priority.

I agree.
But from next year, that means finances, stadium facilities, fan base, etc etc. Not just your league position.

If we are in the Championship the supporters will not want to see a team of triers, they will expect to see success

IMG aren't going to remove a team from Super League no matter if there is a team in the championship who have a little bit nicer ground. Yes, other things count, but the absolute biggest factor to being in Super League long term is which league you are in at the end of this season.

This much has been obvious since last year, well obvious to all but our board it would seem who decided that this was the year that they should gamble with a weak squad and untested coach

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I think you need to go read the rules again.

Our fan base is nothing to shout about and I don't see how delivering garbage to paying customers will increase the numbers. It's also nice to have good facilities and a single stand improves things but other parts of the ground are dire. Again people are not going to pay money in good facilities to watch a losing team. We are a rugby League club and what happens on the pitch is what makes people support their club.

True, I think the team finishing top of championship gets same (or more) performance points than the team finishing bottom of SL. I would expect if both are B’s anyway then they will effectively swap places.

I’m not worried if it comes to it. So long as we ensure we invest and are the biggest fish in the championship pond.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.
