From what I've seen of him, it's a no thank you from me.

I get the King relationship with Wire fans, he has been up and down with you guys but it’s safe to say we’ll be sad to see him go. I looked through the try and assist stats the other day for centres and I couldn’t find many with a better output than King this season. I think him and Wardle were on 8 try’s and 8 assists each and the only player I could see with a better combined output than that was Adam Keighran with 8 try’s and 10 assists.

Superleague isn’t littered with good centres tbh but if you guys can get one of the better ones, for 50k a year on the cap, it’s a no brainer. I also am warming rapidly to Sam Burgess being a good appointment and I think he will have the players totally committed and motivated. That is something that will benefit King more than most.

Aussie Telegraph has all but confirmed Morgan Harper for 2024. As someone who follows NRL and Manly in particular, it’s a signing that does come with an element of risk. He has flashes of being a very useful player and at only 24 he’s got his best years ahead of him. However (and it is a big however), his defence leaves a lot to be desired. Often gets caught out of position and seems to grab at attackers, probably one of the reasons he’s been in the Blacktown workers side for most of the year. Hopefully it’s something that SB can work on with him as his aggression and commitment are there for sure. Makes a nice change from the over the hill 30 y/o Aussies we’re used to getting though, let’s wait and see…

It's always interesting to read fans perspectives about players... On the Manly forum there is a lot of favourable views about him, expressing hope that he would re sign and that he should have had more opportunity this year In first grade ... This could be a positive signing if handled well
