Sim0ly asked the question? Halifax conned the ref, how about the ones we got, did we con the ref as well or were they all justified. Not defending anyone just interested in the view

Moving on. You're moving upwards! But until the Top Six place is home and hosed, don't even try to get your noggins round the set up of the Play Offs. There madness lies!

Just as it would have been a farce if Leigh hadn't gone up last season, it would be were Fev not to be promoted this.

But, Bongser supposes that it's all the fun of the RL fair. Someone should start a book on the number of moths that sleepily flutter out of Hughes' wallet should you reach Super League.

There were two instances towards the end of the game where Halifax were "more professional" and exaggerated the situation. They were aware of the ref's position. From the angle I was at it was obvious.

The ref can only award on what he sees. I wasn't criticising the
ref, more illustrating Halifax's gamesmanship.

I felt a couple of London's were "generous".

I actually wasn't defending the ref. Just interested in view
Its something with london have seen over several years, an urgency playing the ball which is what gets the result is something we have never been good at.

Statistically......and you know I'm a huge fan of such things <even though 98% are made up an the other 2% are wrong> London Broncos and Catalans together with Toulouse and the NZ Warriors are the 4 sides across 3 comps least likely to receive as many panties as their opposition and moreso when playing away.
When I lived in London it bothered me that we seemed to get bugger all, but since I've started traveling to NRL games its patently obvious. The Bunker rarely give anything to the Kiwis and it's LIVE on TV for everyone to see. The owner of Catalans has said as much about his side....but I've not heard much from our benefactor?
Down here, the Aussies hate loosing to NZ at anything. The NZ Breakers Basketball side dominated their comp for a year and they hated it....google "underarm bowling in cricket" to see the lengths they'd go to stop a NZ win :SHOOT:

Obvious childish joke aside...

I agree with orangeman. I too remember reading stats where the most penalised teams in Super League (remember those days!) were London and Catalans.

And the only time I've ever commented to my girlfriend that we were getting all the 50/50s was at a Magic Weekend when we were playing Catalans.

Coincidence? Not really!
