Players need to be able to be improved, Evans , clearly couldn't and was jettisoned and was not a Smith signing anyway , Lovodua was a Hodgson signing who Smith clearly didn't think was worthy of a place and we have yet to see what becomes of Lane, he has the potential but maybe is at the highest level he can attain, playing with Mini, Manu and Ellis maybe hid his deficiencies? It does coincide that as they left he declined, or maybe didn't but just looked better with them.
Whats that got to do with anything? The poster i replied to used Darnell Macintosh as an example but TS didnt sign him either, i was just making a valid point that he cant/wont improve everyone, of course he'll have success with some signings, but not all,

To suggest that he'll improve everyone he signs is pretty far off the mark.

I agree with your first point Graham, im not fishing for bites, just pointing out that his track record just recently isnt as good as a few of you might think it is.

i see drew hutchinson has been dropped out of the roosters 17 for their next game,wonder if he could become available?.dont think he would fit for us,but you never know what the club have in mind.

I'd take him. Rarely injured, experienced , decent kicking and passing game and a bit of grunt as well, for a halfback. Out of all the players we have been rumoured to have been linked with , he's the one I'd take. Never tries too hard on plays and can tackle like a forward.
