Got to try something to get people through the door!
Good hard working performance after disastrous start to the game. Macani did well despite taking a knock early on. Nice win and good atmosphere.although not a particularly big crowd again. Shame really as we did well in defence and created a few chances against a decent side.

Not managed to get down for a while, much better team performance than last couple of games have seen. Bienk, and Butler v good. Wellington made an impact when he came on, thought Bill Leyland had a good game. The chase down and scramble defence from the 80 mtr fax break was good to see.
Frustrating bits, needless and stupid yellow card, too many set restarts and really annoying allowing fax scorer to get virtually under the sticks after crossing try line next to touch.
Crowd might have edged 300, which is a worry

Northern Bloke about sums up the game there.Would love to know the stats on the set restarts. It feels like the opposition get a constant 12 tackles sometimes.
The weather was beautiful and it was nice to finally experience the sun in the eyes after all the warnings.
Crowd wise the atmosphere seemed really flat at first but picked up as the game went on.I thought there would be more there. It seemed quiet in the fan zone.People on holiday perhaps?

To be fair, we got a few set restarts as well so went both ways. Very few actual penalties in the game, credit to both teams for playing the game as it should be played.

Jesus Wept
If that's accurate then the back office staff need firing and sharpish!

My first game. Hard to judge from being in the stand, but 300 feels light.

A tidy performance against a team that still looked impressively sharp, given their recent exertions. Would have been easy to have lost control after a shocking start, but I felt we managed the ebb and flow well and were clearly up for the contest.

Crowd did feel a bit small as already mentioned. I thought 'Fax might have brought more, but I guess it's been a lot of recent London trips for them. I did see quite a few folk cutting around in New Zealand Warriors/Penrith/NRL tops. Makes me wonder if we should be doing more to tap into that floating NZ/Aussie in London demographic. Kind of goes back to the points previously made about PL. When it's good weather and there are so many other things to do in London on a Sunday, are we making ourselves an attractive enough proposition?

Incidentally, I brought my Mrs and our little one along for their first experience of PL yesterday and she liked that it felt as though there were families there. There needs to be more to keep them engaged though.

Halifax were very good at conning the ref.

If that's the way you wish to view it, obviously all ours were fully deserved

Amazing how any criticism of officials is like a scene from The Kraken wakes, as up pops Northernbloke, who of course is always right.
