I've had enough of the Ratch-bashing on here this season. This isn't a go at you, Moe, yours is just the most recent post I've noticed. The lad has given an awful lot to the Wire over the years. He's done far more good than bad, sure he's been below par this year but then again so has the majority of the squad. There are others doing a far far worse job and stealing a living.
And no, I'm not his mum! He's been a bloody good servant overall.
I can’t bash Ratchford either. He’s probably the best Swiss Army knife in SL. He would be my bench utility, only Livett can rival him. So many strings to his bow means he’s master of none, but can do a job.

Dudson made a whopping 29 metres yesterday so there’s no way you could think about dropping him……

The selection of Crowther is equally as annoying as that of Dudson in my opinion. Crowther is very poor and, thankfully, is only here until the end of the season. Baffling to persist with him.

On the positive side our attack looked much better. Like much of this season I felt that if we had scored 2 in succession we would have pulled away but yet again simple errors cost us dearly. Leeds had the rub of the green, but that should not have mattered. Crowther? Not sure what he brings to the team. Dudson is a waste of a place. I don’t understand the negativity towards Ratchford, there are far more obvious targets. If Burgess’s talk to Dufty had that effect then when he fires up the whole team there could be fireworks. The major positive for me though is Matty Ashton. From a speedy but lightweight where there was more fat on a chip butty, to a speedy powerful winger who is so quick to his feet after the tackle that the opposition are nearly always on the back foot. Great signing and development but all credit to him.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

100% agree..it is fair to say age and time as caught up with Steph but he's given one hell of a lot to the wire cause.. hopefully it is his last season cos one more season would defo be a season to long
