I really don't get the Bullock thing, but I can't imagine Burgess is going to look at footage of Dudson and think "Wow! Wish I'd had him alongside me in the trenches". But then again, it wouldn't suprise me if he made him captain either.

Also have to wonder why is Mata’utia getting in ahead of Wrench aswell

Lot of people on differing social media not happy about Dudson being included.

Conor Wrench needs to leave Wire ASAP for his own sake, if this is Burgess`s team selection. Our right side defence has been crap all season and there is 1 player (Matautia) who is targeted every game by opposition coaches. Wrench does need to work on his defence, but is being kept out of the team by a guy who`s defence is far worse.

Maybe, and this is a real stretch, Burgess has said “show me what you can do” to Dudson, Dufty etc. Like others I can’t fathom the Dudson over Bullock thing. I like Wrench a lot but think he’s still some distance from the finished article. I would still play him though, he won’t learn otherwise.

Have to agree - simply cant understand why Bullock isnt preferred to Dudson. Joe has not let us down when playing. Ma'atutia/ Wrench - well the former is not the fans favourite v a home grown talent. Wrench does need to play to develop his game for next year.
