Pretty sure Wires 3 marquees next year are Williams Vaughan and King

The club will of course use the marquee allowances to maximise the amount of 'cap free salary' they can. I haven't seen anywhere that Vaughan is marquee in 2023 (or 2024). If Burgess was coming over (which he isn't) I'm sure the club would be better using the marquee spot on him rather than Vaughan, given the additional saving you get against the cap for GB eligible players.

Toby King. My god. I know its the marquee/club trained rules but that just shows what a basket case reactionary club we've become. Gary Chambers has one hell of a job to do.

The only marquee player we have for next season is Williams. Vaughan isn't, and it depends who else comes in and on what wage as to whether Toby King is classed as one.

The Wire - It's Time To Believe
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low, and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with the twists and turns, AS everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out: Don't give up through the pace seems slow. You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worse, that you must not quit. NOW THE WIRE!
