Think the stick getting aimed on Kendall online about the yellow card decision and other non-yellow decisions is a bit harsh considering the incidents were reviewed by the video ref and it was him who advised Kendall of what to do. I'm guilty of complaining about refs but it's sometimes easy to forget a lot of the decisions they give are advised to them by video refs or linesman. Just because they blow the whistle and show the card it's not always them who has made the call.

Both decisons were correct, the yellow card was a accident, but you can't complain at a yellow, when you elbow someone in the head.
The Reynolds one wasn;t really clear, think he might have been a bit lucky as no clear camera angles, but the ref (and VR) had to make their decison on the evidence.
Thought overall he had a good game,
Who got the lance Todd, Lam? Thought SKD was the best player on the pitch yesterday, big loss for Rovers that.

I’m no fan of Kendal but thought the yellow was a fair call, could have been simply a penalty but could also have been a red. All thi rubbish about not being in context of the game by Peacock as the rules are the rules. Minchella made no attempt to tackle and elbowed Reynolds in the head whereas the Leigh player wrapped arms around in a tackle. Was surprised a penalty wasn’t given against Lam though but again that was Moore as Kendal handed up to the VR. Nothing much in the Reynolds/Lewis spat either as both were rubbing heads in that tackle, though Lewis seems to have a habit now of thrashing his head about when tackled. Thought Kendal gave Rovers some decisions too in the 2hd half as he missed a clear knock on at the ptb and then the biggest one was the supposed ball strip in GP when it looked more of a loose carry. Ultimately resting almost their full team backfired as thd looked off it much like we did against Huddersfield after having that test break. I don’t think Hall looked fit either.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Yeah Lam was Lance Todd winner. Agree with you I think SKD was probably the best player. Worked tirelessly all game. Other than that I'm not sure anybody particular stood out, and when that's the case it tends to just go to a half back. I imagine the decision had already been made before he even kicked the game winner. Thought Mulhern played really well. His carry is what gave Leigh the space for their first try, and then again it was his carry that gave them the time for the drop goal. 2 massive pieces of play by him.

In the current climate, I reckon if Minichella had committed that offence in a weekly league game he would have seen red. He clearly turns his body and catches the kicker with his forearm/elbow to the head. Given the clampdown on all contact to the head, those incidents have been resulting in a sending off throughout this year.
Did I hear right (on the commentary) that it was the first sin binning in a Cup final since 2001? Extraordinary, given how barely any game these days ends without at least one sin-bin offence happening!
