Just read Dave Woods article about Leigh and the Lam connection, this Appleyard idiot certainly needs to read it and see how an experienced journo goes about his trade in the lead up to a Wembley final, he’s an absolute disgrace, I bet even part time Mild Rover could do better, if he could spare his time from this forum BBC Sports page if anyone’s interested, don’t know how to provide link.

Shaw confirming Clune signings for Hudds, would Russell be worth looking at? Young domestic scrum half, not sure he is creative enough, but is controlling with a decent kicking game?

Watson seems to rate Russell pretty highly, but hudds will have the same problem next season as they do this. 4 doesn't go into 3.
Do wonder if Watson stays at the Roosters, we might look at Drew Hutchison as an option at 7

He'd go very well over here , but does feature a lot for them and has a physical presence too. I'd say he would definitely do as well, if not better than Clifford, not pacey but he can see a play and has a great passing game, would love to get him but think he'd have a few NRL suitors as well, if he became available. Jordan Abdul , but without the injuries is how I see him.
