as it will still be the leading clubs in S/L who compete for the top six and C/C and therefore the performance rating becomes irrelevant to the other S/L clubs.
To lose Cas or Wakefield this season to be replaced by Featherstone is not any benefit to S/L or its image.
We have to hope Toulouse come good and beat them in the playoffs but again a team that finishes at the top of the Championship by several points has to go through a play off system is just ridiculous.
Realistically from next season there is no way back into S/L for any Championship team unless a team in S/L goes bust and many will go part time.
Apart from Toulouse who if they dont get back in S/L next season may pull out of the RFL i see Bradford as the only team to have a chance of ever entering S/L but that would take a very wealthy owner coming in,and moving the team to one of the cities football stadiums and as i said it would still probably have to be due to a S/L club going bust
.
You want Toulouse in SL and I agree with you. Yet you don't want a a licensing system which is more or less advocated under the IMG proposals which would almost certainly allow Toulouse a place in SL.
