Well that’s the year done.
Positives: other than Sangare I don’t think we picked up any other serious injuries.
Negatives: We are soft without the ball, don’t put pressure on the other team, invite them to March upfield and have no aggression in our defence. With the ball, we are totally toothless (partly because of the defence), we look like we don’t have a plan, our players are less than fully committed (see how they don’t push each other or back up the man with the ball) and our playing roster is genuinely bottom 4 standard.
I know we have injuries to a few more important players, but that is showing how poor the squad is. GH has been negligent for years to allow us to get into this position, this doesn’t happen overnight. He has an almighty task on to put us back into a respectable position.
I don’t care if anyone thinks this is knee jerk to another defeat, it’s not, this has been years in the making, we are a million miles off where we used to be in every possible respect.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.
Credit to Leigh for putting in a serious shift. Hope they enjoy the day next week.
No surprises from Leeds. Not good enough in the areas that matter. Need serious upgrades in the spine but that's old news. On top, we have plenty who look good in a team playing well but not a single one with the stones to turn things around.
I am pleased for Hooley that he put his horror show behind him.

Well I can't wait for this season to be over for many reasons. Our attacking system is so frustrating to watch we just stay in a arm wrestle with teams but never compound pressure on teams players don't have the mentality to break teams down which is a hard watch. I also can't wait for this season to be over due to watching the same inconsistent and horrendous officiating of Super League matches honestly the reffing standard in this country is a joke officials make calls up as they go along. One thing that boils my blood is video refs getting things wrong when they have the technology to help get the correct decisions how can the Ipape try be given when he's losing the ball onto a Leeds defenders leg therfore he's not in control of the ball so it's a knock on but the try is still awarded. But in the same game O'Connor's second try wasn't given as he was deemed to have lost control of the ball. Game's going backwards with current officiating. Only postive from the game is that Hooley played well imo cleaned up nicely at full back for us and added a bit of pace at the back as well. We won't make play offs now (doubt we would have anyway) I hope Rohan plays the likes of Hooley, Sinfield & Ruan for rest of season now and just finish as high as possible and I hope he is backed financially by Hethrington heading into the 2024 campaign as our playing roster drastically needs it.
