I don't know whether Chambers will make wholesale changes but options open to him should include.
Ashton expected back - Wrench to replace Mata'utia at Centre Not sure what the situation is with Russell (hasn't made the 21 for the last two games). If fit, then would enable Thewlis to FB. Harrison due back for Leeds game, Bullock was seeing a consultant on Monday I think, so could allow a couple of underperforming forwards to be dropped. Heyes now fit and Dean back from loan introduces options at HB

On current form. There maybe 2 wins. That with teams around us going to win today and then having easier run ins. We’re going to find ourselves out of the 6 very soon. Our early start actually saving us from relegation. We are currently worse than last season. At least we were winning the first 20 mins in some of those….and there was thankfully Toulouse.

And to think Duck you predicted if my memory serves me right this team would win the lot:)
All of those games are winnable if we do all of the basics well, make the defence more aggressive with a line which cuts the space down quickly, have a kicking game that causes the oposition some problems, and cut the silly errors. That said we are quite a way off from doing any of that at the minute.
These are professional players, there should be no real reason why they can't do all of that and compete to win these matches. Maybe we need a really good sport psychologist? This team needs to learn to trust themselves and each other again or we are done for the season already. How depressing.
We might as well look to the future in the remaining games. I think you’d have to be very optimistic to think we’ll make the play offs so maybe look to the future and work on combinations with an eye on next season…
If Thewlis is the future at full back let’s get him in there now, Dufty has some ability to we’re not seeing it often enough, so I’m not sure what value he offers…
I’d give Wrench a run on the wing, he looks to slight at centre for me, but he’s pace and talent and I’d give him a good run of games…
Obviously the centres are a big issue, I’d be tempted to shift Currie into the centres just so we can drop at least one of Ratchford or Mautautia…
If Nicholson prefers 13 and we’re planning on him playing there when Fitzgibbon comes in, then let’s get him in there now…
It’d leave two from Crowther, Harrison & Philbin in the second row, and maybe wholesale changes aren’t the way to go, but they can’t do any worse surely. Whitehead and Holroyd could obviously come in too…
Finally I’d give Dean or Hayes a run alongside Williams. If Drinkwaters role is to be a controlling half and make sure we’re in the right areas of the pitch then fine, I’ve no problem with that, but it isn’t happening, I’m not saying he’s solely to blame but our only tactic seems to be give it Williams on the last play of the ball and hope he can conjure something…
