We are coming across as an absolute circus. Genuine question, is it an absolute coincidence that this decline into horrific chaos started at the point KFP was appointed? Who, if anyone, do you blame for this utter mess? Is it KFP? Are we just unlucky, is there a Moran/Middleton power struggle, is there anyone at the club with genuine rugby brains?

Moran and Middleton have been great to us. Too great almost. In hindsight, some austerity would've probably helped. No Inglis, No Johns, No Williams. The right player, not the headline player.

They've supported us through everything and clearly want the best for the club but money isn't always the answer. You get mercenaries not players.

I don't want them to leave, I want them around for years but an experienced director of rugby is probably the next sensible step to make sure a coach doesn't massacre a whole team in one fail swoop again. Someone on the board with a rugby brain to give a subjective opinion.

If Karl is running the shop, somebody else needs to make sure everything else is in order.

It probably shows how amateur our sport is that one man, like Fitzpatrick, can have so many bases to cover in his role.

From Middleton's comments the other day, it's obvious even he doesn't think Fitzpatrick is doing all his jobs competently, so why don't the board at least find some people to help share the load - I mean, having nobody in the management structure, anywhere between the guy coaching the team and the bloke who is planning your matchday entertainment does seem very bizarre?

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,

I see everyone blaming KF for the mess, assuming because he’s the low hanging fruit?

Middleton said this in an interview in 2017, which coincides with the start of our downfall - “I have been a lifelong fan of Warrington Wolves and it’s weird to think that I am now the main man making all the decisions”

KF made himself an easy target, he seems to have been so focused with all the stunts trying to get new fans in that clearly focus on keeping them in(winning games) has been lost on him. So fans have clearly picked up on that and hammered him. Enough people even people on here who often disagree with comments know sport is a results driven business, win games fans stay. Yes you can lose games and fans stay but fans are not all stupid and can see when they are being let down.

Found this I was curious about Wrexham attendances before and after Ryan Reynolds and co got onboard, like I said results driven business, yes every club as an hardcore group of fans thick&thin and all that but like I said in previous post KF is trying to put cart before the horse.

While I agree with your points in principle, the chief execs role is to make the club money, to do that he has to bring in new fans. It’s then up to the coaching staff/players to win the games. Ultimately we appointed the wrong coach and have kept the wrong players. Now that decision falls on the board rather than KF - Middleton himself said Karl can only make suggestions, and the board have the final decision.

I fear that while we have a board offering massive contracts to bog standard players, nothing will change.

As people said above, a DoR with control over the coaching/playing staff and a 5 year plan is probably what we need - but will the board give up control of those decisions?

Our board offer cash for sure. But sound judgement and direction?

As i saw last nights game there was genuine effort put in by the players , but there were a few things that let us down.
The defence generally in the marathon six again period was ok , but was it 2 or 3 tries off kicks where there was acres of space for Cats to score because there was nobody lurking behind the line to clean up.
2 tries off basic mistakes near our own line ,dropped ball & bad ptb, Cats scored off the next plays.
Too much possession lost through basic handling errors.
Players generally need to be alert to breaks & support the ball carrier better.
I think i would definitely move Thewlis into the engine room of the team. He has more spark & nouse than our senior players.
Currie's try was well taken.
