Disappointed it hasn’t worked out with Dre. He has genuine quality and is still at a good age. His injury record isn’t great though and is hard to justify keeping.

Not too fussed about Savelio. Never really hit the heights, very inconsistent has had some good games, but also games where his attitude in defence and application has been shocking.

I'd have probably kept him, a good player, buy you can see the reasons he is going, will be on a large salary and we don't get value for money from him.

Yeah agreed and whilst he is one of our few forwards who could mix it physically with the Saints pack we still have concerns over his attitude.

It obviously wasn’t right at the start of the season, hence being dropped, and while he did well to work his way back into the team I wouldn’t be surprised to see him slip back into his old ways at the Giants and we don’t see much of him over the next few seasons ala Josh Jones?

TBF to Savelio, I can't fault his effort on the pitch, always puts a shift in.

A poor comparison Tarq if I may say, Michael Smith was a flop of a signing, and totally uninterested while with us with alarming regularity.

We took a gamble on Andre with his poor injury record, which is his Achilles heel lol. But I’ve seen him have some outstanding games for us as well, sometimes head and shoulders above the rest and I was always pleased when he was included, although I kind of understand the reasoning of his release, if it’s true, and I did comment on his attitude and body language during the warm up at Huddersfield, he didn’t seem right.

But let’s give credit to players who at times go to war for us, and not disrespect them with poor comparisons, sorry for the rant.
