Agree Seth. There are serious questions that need answers from Hetherington. There’s no way Austin just demands a release without any background to it. He’s made it clear he wanted to stay and another contract.
Smith mentions that once he was fully briefed this morning he then was supportive of the move.. what was he fully briefed about?
There’s more to this than Leeds are saying. The fans and shareholders deserve clear answers. We’ve just let one of our best player this season go mid season. I also want to know why we never replaced Leeming this year but that’s another story

I think it’s pretty clear the club weren’t happy with what Austin has been saying in public. What we don’t know and doubt ever will know is what happened between Austin and GH yesterday evening.
