That reminded me of why I keep coming back - absolutely magnificent performance from every single player, against a big team who once they realised they couldn't bully Fax into defeat seemed to have no plan B. Yes there were still a couple of daft mistakes in there, but generally their determination, especially in the second half limited the damage. For the first time this season felt every player really played to their best- Pickersgill was fantastic defensively, Lannon ,especially that one run played like a man possessed, and really pleased to see Maizen showing the form he was bought for. All the forwards did well to stand up to a huge pack - get AOB signed up now, he made a huge difference both in attack and defence. My MOM though was JWH - everything he did was absolutely class, including some great defence. Seems wrong to finish on a negative but Leilua must be the biggest, overpaid and overrated player in the championship - typical to seem him scuttle down the tunnel at the end, without acknowledging the opposition or his own fans.

Great team performance and I hope we really carry that into next week. Woody was the stand out player and bar Jouffret everyone had a great game. On any other day the mistakes by Jouffret would have cost us the match.

Where did that come from? I still stand by what I said at the beginning of the season and I truly believe we are the second best team in the league and could really give Fev a run for thier money in the playoffs but our form has been so all over the place then we come up with a performance like that. Fev are just used to out muscling teams but if you can stick with them and are able to play a bit of rugby like we can then you will have a chance against them. Really nice to see Grix all smiles in the after game interviews as well. Play rugby like that next week and it will make for a great game to watch on the Wembley pitch.

Great result for Fax. Good for the game to see Fev humbled for a change.

Yep all been said about the performance.

In just a few weeks how we can go from the shocking performance against Batley the joy of winning in London, the dejection of throwing an 18 point lead and losing in the last 5 mins at Sheffield and then play like that and win against the top of the league.

Can’t have asked much more from this weekend, a vital 2 points to stay in the 6, didn’t see any serious injures and the perfect confidence booster leading up to Wembley.

One game at a time but after that who knows how we’ll go in the 4 pointers against London and Widnes.

Last thought, Pickersgill showed is value in the last few games and character after being on the sidelines for so long.

JWH is the best fullback in the division for me and I like LJ but with his random bloopers increasing it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise to see Woody and Keyes in the halves when he does make his come back.

Exact same issues at Bradford.

It is the inconsistencies that are frustrating, the loss at Barrow as well, if we played like we know we can consistently we'd be up in 2nd or 3rd.

Great win yesterday, some great performances from individuals as well as an all round team performance. Thought Pickersgill's defence in the second half was MOM worthy, made a couple of tackles that were certain try savers
